Our Dear Friends and Family,

Big deal. Get excited! The House votes tomorrow on a 20 week Abortion Ban bill! That means that if this passes the House and Senate abortion will be banned after 20 weeks. Can you believe it? Please be praying and reaching out to your representatives!

Anna spoke at Montrose, Colorado this weekend. She was flown out to Colorado to be the keynote speaker at Life Choices Pregnancy Center’s annual banquet fundraiser. She was so honored for this opportunity, and so excited to get to share about our run across America. It went really well! Anita Daly, who asked Anna to speak said that, “And she shared an amazing, powerful, motivating and inspirational message at our banquet, too. I know she is too humble to tell you what a phenomenal job she did.”  She also got to speak with a youth group while she was out there.

Meanwhile, Megan and I have been working out of DC on the project. We went to view the Lincoln Memorial. The Lincoln Memorial is amazing: I always think that every American should see it by night at least once. It’s one of the most patriotic and noble sights every constructed. We went to see it at around the time of our final event to get an idea of lighting and crowds. It’s a beautiful space.

We have spent our evenings with our hosts the Ellis family. They are so intellectual; it has been such a pleasure to hear their thoughts on politics and DC culture. Mrs. Ellis is with a law firm right off of the Capitol; she arranged for a conference room for Meg and I to work out of, this afternoon, and use as a headquarters, and she made us homemade banana bread to have with our work! We are so grateful for the opportunity to connect across the Hill. Mr. Ellis is a journalist for PJMedia— so it was exciting to get to meet him!

We pick up Anna late tonight in Maryland from the airport. We will head back down to the Weaver’s to get our van. Biking recommences tomorrow.

All our love,

Sarah-Marie Hoduski
