Our Dear Friends and Family,

What a great weekend!

We’re heading back on this rainy afternoon to where Anna left off biking. It took us about ten hours to get to DC from Cincinnati, but we loved getting the opportunity to do the Care Net conference!

Last night we attended the Washington DC Care Net banquet for the conference! The conference unites pregnancy centers from around the nation— there were 1,500 in attendance at this one.

Anna spoke briefly at the banquet, which was an incredible opportunity. We were so honored to be there. As a result of going to this event, we got to meet pro-life champions from around the nation. We are super impressed with Care Net’s conference. California, Montana, Wyoming, Alabama, Tennessee, and on and on; we met with so many champions from around the nation! It was really neat to get to meet with Denise Beck with her Life Choices Group that is out of Joplin, Mo.!  The event was pulled off with panache. Everyone was so warm and excited about the future of the pro-life movement.

We got to do a tour of the US capitol yesterday with our friend Diana Willis— her friend former Congressman John Hostettler gave us an inside peak of how the capitol runs. Mr. Hostettler is with the Kennedy Center for Christian Statesmanship.

Diana Willis and her teammate Cheryl had conjoined rooms with us— it was so fun to get to talk with them about the pro-life movement. They have done so much: children’s lives saved, women whose lives are better for knowing them, and families reunited. They were SO kind to us— our room, breakfast, and connections, and encouragement!

We are excited to be back on the road! Please be praying: Anna’s knees have been hurting her again. Also, please be praying: we are coordinating our finishing event at the Lincoln Memorial, which is super exciting!

All our love!
